WM. Wright was born in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn New York. He spent his early years in the Caribbean, on the
twin republic islands of Trinidad and Tobago, his mother's native county, before moving back to Brooklyn during his teenage
years. WM. Wright has a B.A. degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Manhattan, N.Y and a
Master's degree in Social Work with a concentration in administration and planning, from Columbia University's School of Social
Work, Manhattan, N.Y. WM. Wright is currently a 3rd year Doctoral student pursuing his Doctorate in Social Work Policy, Planning
and Administration at Clark Atlanta University a Historically Black University (HBCU); in the Whitney M. Young, Jr., School of Social
Work. WM. Wright is also employed at Clark Atlanta University, where he holds the position of Director of Field Education in the
School of Social Work. WM. Wright has over a decade of community based social work practice, with individuals diagnosed with
mental health conditions and a history of addictions. His area of expertise and interest are: integrated behavioral health, asset
based community development, international social work, and workforce development initiatives for individuals who are dually
diagnosed. WM. Wright also served 4 years with The United States Air Force in the 514-Air Mobility Wing at McGuire AFB, New
Jersey.
WM. Wright is passionate about community service and reaching back to help those who are marginalized and stigmatized by
society. WM. Wright is a volunteer at Fulton County Government's Human Services Coordinating Committee. Where he serves on a
committees of select professional who are responsible for reviewing and recommending grant funding for various community
based organizations in Fulton County for the purpose of meeting the County's citizenry's needs. WM. Wright believes Masonry's
core principles are congruent with his profession and personal core value of serving others for the betterment of the community in
which they live and work in. His leadership philosophy is: listen, learn, lead.
WM. Wright is married to Beatrice Wright and they have four children. WM. Wright enjoys spending time with his family and
sees them as his source of strength and inspiration.
